3D Printed Models for Anatomical Comprehension and Surgical Planning of Kidney Tumors’ Enucleation

The Urology Department of Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo requested 3D4Med support for the production of two 3D printed models for surgicalplanning and anatomical comprehension. Both clinical cases regard patients referred to Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo for kidney cancer. Patients underwent a kidney tumors' enucleation procedure and the 3D printed models were used to better understand the tumors' positioning and degree of infiltration.

A 3D Printed Model of Coronary Arteries to Investigate the Correlation Between Congenital Coronary Artery Disease and Cardiac Arrest in an Athlete

A 65-years old athlete referred to Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo after cardiac arrest, presenting with a rare right coronary anomaly (right coronary artery ostium atresia) and no other causes of sudden cardiac death.
