The 3D printed model includes the pelvic bone structure (white) the tumor (black and purple) and the surrounding venous (blue) and arterial (red) vessels.
This patient-specific model has been used to properly plan the surgical resection of the pelvic tumor allowing the surgeon to better appreciate the mass’ morphology, localization and vascularization.
