3D4med and Stratasys three events

The medical world’s interest in 3D printing technologies is demonstrated by the growing number of practical examples of its use. In this series of three events, to be held at the 3D4Med Laboratory-strada privata Campeggi 40,Pavia.

3D4Med and Stratasys will discuss how 3D printing can become a systematic part of everyday hospital life with multiple uses such as support for planning surgical and interventional procedures, preoperative training and simulation, informed consent, and training and development of new medical devices and instrumentation.

3D printing for applications in minimally invasive surgery.
The event aims to illustrate the potential of available technologies and materials for applications in minimally invasive surgery, where 3D printing today allows simulation and surgical training activities on patient-specific anatomies and contributes to the development of new tools and approaches in robotic and laparoscopic surgery

Come and discover practical examples of 3D printing applications in some specific clinical-surgical areas.
You will see and interact with anatomical models and simulators made with the latest and most innovative 3D printing technologies and talk to the specialists from the 3D4Med laboratory and Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo. You will know morw on how 3D printing can positively impact various aspects of the patient caring pathway and the process of technological innovation in medicine.
